Due to the Federal Government Shut Down, the FoodShare Program many families in the area rely on is expected to end soon. Please click the image for a list of local food pantries in Waushara County that are available to assist during this time.

Check out some of the cool creations the students came up with!
At Riverview Elementary, we all know the true hero working behind the scenes: our dedicated custodian, Mr. Miller! He is the silent guardian, the watchful protector, and the true Dark Knight of our hallways. While he doesn't wear a cape, he always carries a utility belt full of cleaning supplies. He's constantly swooping in to sweep away danger—from making the cafeteria floor sparkle after spaghetti day, to ensuring the playground is always safe and tidy. Mr. Miller is our clean-up crusader, making sure every corner of Riverview is crime-free (meaning mess-free!).
Thank you, Mr. Miller, for always being the hero this school deserves!

Wautoma Area School District currently accesses Federal Carl D. Perkins funding to help support its Career & Technical Education (CTE) programs (Business, Family and Consumer Sciences, Agriculture, Tech Ed, and Manufacturing classes). In applying for this funding, WHS is participating in a Regional Comprehensive Local Needs Assessment. As part of the needs assessment, parents and guardians are encouraged to provide feedback on your local CTE programs.
This brief survey will ask if your student(s) have taken a CTE course, why or why not, and the relevancy of some basic components of the programs. Please only respond to this survey if you have a student enrolled in high school. We ask that parents and guardians of current juniors and seniors complete this survey.
Your feedback is appreciated and will help shape regional strategies to support local CTE programs moving forward. Please complete the survey by November 30, 2025.

The Wautoma High School AP and Translations Classes and members of the Spanish National Honor Society visited Heartland House yesterday to deliver handmade cards to Eddie Bursack in celebration of her 90th Birthday. Eddie proudly served as a custodian for the Wautoma Area School District for 45 years!
Students from all of Mrs. Peterman’s classes and the FCCLA also helped create the thoughtful cards that brightened Eddie’s day. 🌟💌
Mrs. Erickson, your classroom is a place of growth where students feel safe to be themselves. You aren’t afraid to jump right in and try new ideas. From your classroom goose to your fish tank to your plants- you go above and beyond to make memories! The Riverview family is so lucky to have you on the team.

Congratulations to Hadleigh, Hudson, and Chayna for being nominated and for showing great character in September!

During work time, Beau gets started right away, keeps working hard the whole time, and cleans up after himself when he's done. When it's time to work with a partner or group, I know Beau will cooperate with anyone. During playtimes, I see him being a kind friend and showing encouragement to other kids.
Beau is a great example of a kind, safe, and responsible Riverview Elementary School student.
