A huge thank you goes out to the Wautoma Public Library for connecting Mrs. Wilson’s CPR Class with protective eye glasses for viewing this past Saturday’s Annular Solar Eclipse.
The next “Ring of Fire” won’t be viewable until 2046! Additionally these glasses will be helpful for students to view the total eclipse on April 8th! October is National Farm to School Month! Today on the lunch menu at Parkside and WHS is a baked potato bar! Potatoes served today are locally grown from Decker Family Farms! Potatoes are rich in vitamin C, which is an antioxidant! Another major nutrient in potatoes is potassium, an electrolyte which aids in the workings of our heart, muscles, and nervous system!
