Calling all Wautoma and Wild Rose 9th-12th graders! It is time for cheer sign ups for the Fall 2021 season! Fall cheerleaders will cheer for Wautoma HS football games, put together a homecoming performance, and attend various events.

The Back to School Bash is an activity of the Waushara County Dept. of Human Services. It will be held on Friday August 6th and Saturday, August 7th at the Waushara County Fairgrounds. Advanced registration is required by July 31st.
REMINDER: A COVID-19 Vaccination Clinic will be held at Wautoma High School for all students ages 12+. The clinics will be held Monday, July 12th and Tuesday, July 13th.

WASD Nutrition Department is looking for a Head Cook at Redgranite and Riverview school who loves working with youth to join our wonderful WASD nutrition team! This position is M-F, 30 hours per week. Pay rate is $14.74 - $17.19 an hour. Basic job duties include: Order and prepare food according to a planned menu and determine if the product is client acceptable, determine the quantities of each food prepared daily, maintain department required records to meet DPI requirements, maintain the highest standards of safety and cleanliness in the kitchen and be an effective team leader. Must have manual dexterity and ability to work under pressure, have a high school diploma or equivalent, pass a background check and have three years of school food service experience in the preparation and serving of food is preferred. The students enrolled in Camp Parkside Volleyball posed for a few group photos at the end of class today. All the kids had a great time with Coach Phillips as well as her Wautoma High School Student Assistant Cami!
Students in the Makerspace classes created LED cards and worked with a variety of robots this weeks. The older students also worked on designing, building & testing catapults. Imaginations were running wild the last 4 weeks!

Camp Parkside's "Potterheads" had an amazing time in Harry Potter Fan Club! Witches and Wizards in training performed "magic" spells, mixed up foamy potions, made Harry Potter crafts and fanart, and played some themed "Minute to Win it" games. They finished out their time in Harry Potter Fan Club with a leaving feast complete with magical snacks and butterbeer!
Members of the Camp Parkside Kindness Zone traveled to Little Sprouts Discovery Center in Redgranite every Tuesday to played with the students and helped with projects. All the kids had a wonderful time!

The hours are M-F at Riverview from 10:45-12:45 daily, and from 11:00-1:30 daily at Parkside. Basic job duties include: Operate dishwasher, clean and sanitize trays, silverware, pots and pans and perform other kitchen duties as assigned. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment, have a high school diploma or equivalent and pass a background check. A full job description is available by request.
