This student is a shining star at Redgranite Elementary School. This student demonstrates responsibility each and every day in many ways. For example, she is ultimately responsible for learning new things and she always puts forth 110% effort to do so. She is responsible for being a leader in our classroom and I can always count on her to lead by example. She is respectful to adults and children in the school. She always speaks in a kind tone and uses her manners. She can be counted on to follow school rules in and out of the classroom. When I think of being responsible, I think of her.
As I nominate this student for the character trait responsibility, I would like to point out that she could also be nominated for the following character trait awards: Respect, Integrity, Empathy, Determination, Leadership and Cooperation. It is with great pleasure that I nominate Fynlie Korman as Redgranite’s Student of the Month.

It is with great pleasure and enthusiasm that the WHS CTE department nominates Abbi Zindars for the October Student of the Month.
Abbi has started the year off on a very strong note! Not only has she excelled in her academics she also has gone above and beyond in extracurriculars. She has stepped up and volunteered for junior class activities when help was needed most. She has also taken on the role of president of FCCLA this year. FCCLA is a new student organization and without hesitation and with little knowledge of the club, she has stepped up to lead the group this year. She has a positive attitude and always strives to do her best. When times get tough, she powers through and does not complain. Even as the course rigor increases, her accelerated pace continues. Abbi has continued to be polite, respectful, and considerate in all of her interactions.
It is with great enthusiasm and respect that we nominate Abbi Zindars for Student of the Month.

Ms. Lindenmeyer and five of her WHS students attended the Multilingual Multicultural Post Secondary Fair at Moraine Park Technical College in Fond du Lac on Thursday, November 4, 2021. Students attended informational sessions that included how to apply for college, paying for college, college and community resources, and career readiness. Students also took a campus interest tour of the following programs CNA, Nursing Assistant, Surgical Technology, and Culinary Arts.

The Hornet Market located at Parkside school, will be open from 5-7 during the high school P/T conferences tonight. The Hornet Market is for families that are enrolled at WASD only. If you have a student enrolled at Redgranite, Riverview, Parkside or at WHS, stop in and see what we have to offer!
The following is this week's COVID-19 testing schedule. All mobile locations listed offer rapid and PCR tests. Testing is free and is available to all community members experiencing symptoms, those who believe they may have been exposed to someone with COVID-19 and anyone who is worried about possibly having the virus. Appointments are required. Pre-register online at doineedacovid19test.com.
The Riverview Elementary School First Grade Team nominated Mila Zeleinka for September Student of the Month. Mila has kicked off this school year with a great start. Since the first day of school, Mila has come to school each day ready to learn, work, and participate. She is a great listener, a great role model to others around her, and carries herself with a quiet and calm confidence. When working on activities in the classroom, Mila does exactly what is asked of her and does it to the best of her ability. She makes sure that her work is good quality and puts great effort into everything she does. On top of her great work ethic, Mila is a great friend and works well with everyone in the class. Her teachers and classmates are happy to know that they can always look to her to set a great example.
As part of the first campaign for the Wautoma High School Sources of Strength, students in all grades had the opportunity to sign up for dodgeball (or geocaching if weather was cooperative). This campaign focused on the healthy activities part of the sources of strength wheel.
