Redgranite Elementary 4K-2 students took a field trip to the Food and Farm Exploration Center in Plover. Besides getting a picture in front of the world's largest potato masher, students had fun learning about mineral mining and agriculture. What a great, new place in our area!

CESA 5 and Wautoma High School are proud to announce their partnership for the Employment Readiness & Transition Program for the 2024-2025 year. Students enrolled in the age 18-21 program in Waushara County and surrounding areas participated in an assessment today at Wautoma High School.
Today's activities consisted of assessments to ensure that students and workplaces were a right fit based on job skills, interests, and to evaluate the level of support needed to help students experience success.
Throughout the 2024-2025 year, students will be placed at one local business during each of the quarters of the school year. By the end of the year, students will have worked at a combined total of four local businesses. These include: Shasta Daisy Co., Salon Muse, Dairy Queen, Smiley's Bait & Feed, Wautoma Public Library, and the Waushara County Animal Shelter.
If you would like to learn more about this program or are a business interested in becoming a partner, please contact Sarah Kniffen at kniffens@wautoma.k12.wi.us.

Redgranite Elementary School received a grant from Adams-Columbia Electric Cooperative. The school received nearly $1,000.00 to purchase educational tools related to math and science. This past week 2nd and 3rd grade students enjoyed using the STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) resources purchased with the grant money. The STEM bins will allow our students to learn more about the engineering process and motivate them to become problem-solvers. Redgranite Elementary School would like to send a heartfelt thank you to Adams-Columbia Electric Cooperative for their generous donation and their commitment toward the betterment of our children.
