This student is a great role model in the 4th grade classroom. She also possesses the following character traits: responsibility, respect, empathy, determination, leadership, integrity, and cooperation. During the month of February, Redgranite Elementary School was celebrating the character trait leadership. This soft spoken student knows the difference between what is right and wrong, and is always making good choices and doing the right thing. She is always kind in her encouragement towards others ensuring they also do the right thing. She is quick to follow directions and does so efficiently without any reminders. She is often seen helping other students without them asking for help. This student also is very kind in her demeanor towards her classmates when reminding them of what is expected of them. I am excited to see this student continue to grow as a leader and role model at Redgranite Elementary. It is with great pleasure that I nominate Quinn Hennick for Redgranite’s student of the month.

The 6th Grade Team is proud to nominate this outstanding young man for Parkside's February Student of the Month. The student eagerly absorbs knowledge, always seeking new ways to grow and challenge themselves. The brightness and twinkle in his eyes shines when he is excited about what he is learning, which is nearly every day. He volunteers to help others in class, often being the student who will be in any group, despite where his friends are. He consistently exceeds expectations, tackling challenges with determination and delivering exceptional work that inspires those around them. This young man consistently goes out of their way to help others, offering a smile and support whenever needed. His kindness creates a warm and welcoming environment for everyone around him. We can't say enough to explain how much we appreciate Connor Novak and that is why we feel he is deserving of being Student of the Month. Good job, Connor!

Congratulations to the February Character Award Winners from Parkside!

The first grade team would like to nominate Robert Brammer, Jr., for the student of the month award. Robert is always demonstrating character traits in school and at home. He comes to school with a smile on his face ready to learn. Robert shows enthusiasm with everything he does, even when it gets difficult. Whenever a teacher talks about Robert, they talk about his determination. He continuously works to accomplish his goals. Even when the task seems too big, Robert keeps working at it. He does not give up! Robert also demonstrates other character traits such as integrity, responsibility, and respect. It is for these reasons and more that we nominate Robert Brammer, Jr.
