
Due to the impending snowstorm, all after school activities and events have been canceled this evening, February 17, including A+ After School, practices and clubs. There also will not be a late bus this evening.

Two Parkside 7th graders participated in the Regional Spelling Bee yesterday. Congratulation Larissa for taking 6th, and Addie for taking 1st! She will be headed to the State Spelling Bee in March.



Parkside 7th & 8th grade choir students that were selected to be members of the South Central Conference M.S. Honors Choir worked with a guest conductor all day in Nekoosa on Monday, Feb. 10. It concluded with a concert featuring the music the students had worked. There was also a H.S. Honors Choir that performed that evening.


The Wautoma High School Key Club will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt and Vendor Fair on Saturday, March 21, at Riverview Elementary School. Any interested vendors who would like to participate, feel free to contact Ms. Wheaton at wheatont@wautoma.k12.wi.us for more information.

Coronavirus is very common respiratory illness that can be seen throughout the entire year but is more common in the fall and winter months. This virus has been around since the 1960’s. The illness that is making the headlines is a new form of this virus called 2019-CoV. The signs and symptoms are the same as the Common Coronavirus. To avoid getting this or any other virus, follow good hygiene etiquette and encourage your students to do the same.
Signs and Symptoms of Coronavirus and other Respiratory Viruses:
-Runny nose
-Headache
-Cough
-Sore throat
-Fever
-Not feeling well
-Shortness of breath, especially when at rest
How to prevent the spread of viruses:
-Frequently wash your hands with soap and water
-Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands
-Avoid close contact with people who are sick
-Cough or sneeze into your elbow/cover your mouth and nose with a tissue and then throw the tissue in the trash and wash your hands
-Clean and disinfect objects and surfaces as needed
-Stay home if you are sick!
