On Thursday and Friday the 3rd grade students and teachers enjoyed a lot of Halloween and Fall themed fun. Some of us had a ton of fun dressing up. All students enjoyed a Science experiment where we guessed what solution would dissolve candy corn the fastest and some classrooms had very surprising results!!! There will be a few more pics coming

More dress-up fun at WHS on this sunny Friday!

Here are two more characters from WHS today!

This week Miss Sharp's kindergartners worked hard learning all about pumpkins. After learning about a pumpkin's life cycle, a pumpkin's needs, and the parts of a pumpkin, the students worked hard to count the seeds in medium sized pumpkins. Students used 10 frames to count the seeds 10 at a time, and they used base 10 rods to keep track of the seeds they had counted. Monday's class counted 610 seeds in their pumpkin, and Tuesday's class had 550 seeds in their pumpkin! Many of the students were surprised that pumpkins can have so many seeds!

On Thursday and Friday last week the students at Redgranite Elementary took a break from their studies to get into the spooky spirit. They each picked a dot in the hallway, and played freeze dance to The Monster Mash!
