Mandalas were made this last week in Calm Coloring class during Camp Parkside. A mandala is an arrangement of simple shapes repeated in a circular pattern. The center is the focal point and it can ease anxiety and calm you down during a meditative state. Here are some of our creations!

Camp Parkside students are having a "Wizarding" good time in the Harry Potter Fan Club class! First, they created their own wands and magic spell books that they filled with Harry Potter spells. They also used magnets to try to get feathers to float, as they pretended to perform the wingardium leviosa spell from Harry Potter. They also created catapults to fling, "Golden snitches," as far as they could.
