
With the month of August being designated National Back to School Month, Eagle Creek Renewable Energy Representatives Lea Steltenpohl and Melissa Rondou presented a $250 gift card donation to Wautoma Area School District Administrator Jewel Mucklin. The gift card will be used towards the needs of the students and classrooms.
Eagle Creek Renewable Energy owns and operates 85 hydroelectric facilities across the United States.


This morning, Durga and Dennis Tiwari, owners of the new Wautoma Mobile Station on the corner of Hwys 21, 22, and 73, welcomed Wautoma Area School District Administrator Jewel Mucklin, Waushara County Administrator Melissa Pingel, Wautoma Public Library Director Hannah Klusmeyer, City of Wautoma Police Chief Mott, Wautoma Administrator, Clerk and Treasurer Tommy Bohler, and City of Wautoma Mayor John Nixon to their Grand Opening. The Tiwaris donated $500 to the school district as part of their support to students in need during their celebration.

After serving as the Parkside School A+ After School Site Coordinator for the past seven years, Ms. Dianna Parrott is taking over the program as the new Wautoma Area School District A+ After School Coordinator.
In her new role, Ms. Parrott will work closely with each of the site coordinators in order to provide a positive learning environment for the students who attend the A+ After School Program each day.

Parkside School Extra-Curricular Code Parent/Athlete/Coach meeting will be held tomorrow (Monday, August 14th) at 6:00 PM at Parkside. This is for ALL Grade 6 (Cross Country) and 7-8 Athletes (Fall, Winter and/or Spring).
This meeting is a requirement for any students interested in playing ANY sport during the 2023-24 school year. Students must be accompanied by at least one parent/guardian. During this meeting, we will cover the necessary paperwork needed, season expectations, grading policy, and answer questions you may have.
Following that meeting, those participating in fall athletics will meet with their coaches and teams to go over sport-specific expectations and information. Any student-athletes who will not participate in a sport until winter or spring will be dismissed. Students will also have the opportunity to either drop off or pick up physical or alternate year cards.
All student-athletes MUST be registered for school prior to participation in athletics. Registration ensures that Wautoma High School will have the most current emergency contact information and that the Extra-Curricular Code has been acknowledged and signed.
