The Riverview A+ After School Program 3rd Graders worked in pairs to build sections of a bridge out of toothpicks and gumdrops. Then they connected their sections to create one bridge and test it's strength. The bridge successfully held 400 pennies for 1 minute!

Redgranite Third Graders participated in a virtual field trip on Thursday. The students have been learning a lot about motion and they participated in a virtual class called Motion Commotion with Scientist K from North Carolina. The students enjoyed learning additional information about motion and doing experiments with the scientist. The children worked with tops, learned about centrifugal force, and made magnetic slime.
