This year, 4th and 5th grade students at Redgranite Elementary School were part of the inaugural Student Council. The members mission was to spread kindness throughout the school and the community. Yesterday, the Student Council members enjoyed a smoothie at Sunshine Coffee in Redgranite. We figured since they helped spread sunshine throughout the community, we would put a little sunshine in their lives.
Student Council members would like you to remember, "No act of kindness, no matter how small, is ever wasted."

Last week at "Campin' at Riverview Family Night", one of the stations allowed students to use their estimation skills and guess how many objects were in each jar. Mrs. Barker did an amazing job of counting each object and then checking all the student guesses. Congratulations to our Estimation Jar winners! These students estimated closest to the actual number of items in each jar.
