COVID

COVID cases are continuing to increase in our community.  Although some may experience severe symptoms of COVID-19, many are only experiencing minimal symptoms.  Simply a headache, loss of taste/smell or just congestion are being noted. Because the health and safety of our staff and students is a priority, we will be making a few changes to our daily screening questionnaire.

1.  If you are experiencing ANY symptoms of COVID-19  we ask that you stay home. Testing is encouraged.  You will be placed on a 10 day isolation period.  You may return to school earlier with a negative COVID test as long as you are fever free for 24 hours without the use of a fever reducing medication.  You will also need to be 24 hours without a vomiting or diarrhea episode.

2.  If anyone in the household is being tested for COVID-19 or experiencing symptoms of COVID-19 all staff and students in the family will need to stay home.

3.  If a student develops symptoms during the school day,  all household staff and students must go home as well.

4.  If you are unable to quarantine a student who is a close contact from other family members, all students must stay home.

We are hopeful these changes will help to slow the spread of the virus throughout our district.
