MorrinThe Wautoma Area School District officially welcomed Karl B. Morrin as its new district administrator on Monday, August 4. His appointment was approved by the WASD Board of Education during a special meeting held on July 23, following an interview process involving Board of Education, staff, and community members.

“The Wautoma Area School District looks forward to working collaboratively with Karl, knowing his collaborative approach and commitment to fostering strong communication and visibility with educators, parents, and stakeholders will be invaluable in shaping the future of the district,” said Nicole Lehr, WASD Board President.

In this new role, Morrin shared his enthusiasm to learn more about the Wautoma and Redgranite communities having chosen Central Wisconsin to relocate to be closer to his family. Over the next few months, he plans to start visiting village, city, and town meetings to introduce himself, and is eager to learn more about the area and the opportunities within the Wautoma Area School District.

“I am excited to connect with stakeholders across the community and to be a visible presence in our school buildings,” Morrin said. “I look forward to building strong relationships with staff and students as we work together to move the district forward.”

Morrin succeeds Jewel Mucklin, who resigned from the position at the end of June.
