The Wautoma Area School District along with CG Schmidt and Plunkett Raysich Architects, LLP are planning two engagement sessions to allow community members the opportunity to learn more about the upcoming April 4th referendum to build a new elementary school. The sessions will be held on Wednesday, March 1, and Wednesday, March 22, at 6 PM in the Wautoma High School Field House, located at 514 S. Cambridge Street.

During the sessions, CG Schmidt, PRSA, the WASD Board of Education, and WASD Elementary Facility Planning Team will be available to walk the attendees through the process of how the district got to where they are, why the Board decided to move forward with a new school rather than update and renovate the current facility, and, if the referendum passes, where the new school would be built.

“We look forward to meeting with parents and community members on March 1st and March 22nd to answer questions and engage in thoughtful discussion regarding the April 4th referendum for the construction of a new elementary school in the Wautoma Area School District,” stated District Administrator Tom Rheinheimer.
