Wautoma Hardware Donates to WHS

As the requirements to open Wisconsin Schools due to the COVID-19 Pandemic have come down from the State Department of Health Services, Wautoma High School Principal Jennifer Johnson and Head Custodian Dan Steffens have been working hard to prepare the school to open for their students.

Recognizing the need for plexiglass in order to keep students safe as they work at tables, Wautoma Hardware Co-Owners Paul and Debbie Miller donated all of the plexiglass needed for the school in order for Steffens to create table barriers for the students.

According to Johnson, the Millers’ not only donated a portion of the cost of the plexiglass, but also took the time to locate sheets of it in a timely manner considering it is a sought-after item throughout the state and nation.

“We are very appreciative of his donation and support,” said Johnson. “It is businesses like Paul and Debbie's, at Wautoma Hardware, that bond us together in our times of need, and create relationships that strengthen us as a school and community”.
