Schools Closed
PUBLIC SCHOOLS REMAIN CLOSED EVEN WITH THE WISCONSIN SUPREME COURT DECISION

In order to reduce confusion by providing accurate clarification during this time of constantly changing orders and rules, please read the message below from Mike Thompson, Deputy State Superintendent of the Wisconsin Department of Public Instruction as sent to all District Administrators.

"The Wisconsin Supreme Court yesterday struck down almost all of the “Safer at Home Order,” Executive Order 28. The Court did not, however, strike down the section of the Safer at Home Order that closed public and private K-12 schools. That section of the Safer at Home Order, as well as the defined terms referenced by that section, remain applicable and enforceable. Therefore, the Court’s decision does not reopen schools, which remain closed through June 30th, the end of the current school year."

I greatly appreciate all of you who stay current on our informational communications of changes and updates to school-related items and business.

Sincerely,

Tom Rheinheimer
